HAZZARD IN HOLLYWOOD
Today, NBN, 2pm IT seems filmmakers just can't leave The Dukes of Hazzard alone. Originally a television series of the early 1980s, this remake from 1998 is set to be superseded in September by yet another movie.Incredibly, the makers of Hazzard in Hollywood decided not to include any of the stuff that made the TV series great the wild car chases involving the famous 1969 Dodge Charger "The General Lee" and the fight scenes.THE SUNDAY FOOTY SHOWTomorrow, NBN, 11.30am PRODUCERS of Thursday night's Footy Show have been scratching their heads over poor ratings but many of us know what's wrong they don't talk about footy! The show's hosts are former footballers and should be talking about what they know. Thank goodness for The Sunday Footy Show, which always has been, and always will be (I hope), the show to watch if you actually want to know what's going on in the game.CRICKET AUSTRALIA v ENGLANDTomorrow, Prime, 7.30pm WITH their confidence ebbing after being thrashed by England in a Twenty20 match this week, Ricky Ponting's team will aim to bounce back in the first one-day international at The Royal & Sun Alliance County Ground in Bristol. Australia leads the International Cricket Council's one-day table, with the Poms languishing in sixth. There's no Richie, but Prime's commentary team will include Darren Lehmann, Ian Botham, David Gower, Stuart MacGill, Kerry O'Keeffe and Tony Squires.
