I was referred to Joanne Simpson & Irene Reading, from a close friend who has done business with both these professional ladies over many years.
We listed our home with ijrproperty in October 2010 & Joanne negotiated a successful offer shortly after. As part of the contract conditions, the buyer requested local Council approval for an unapproved pergola. Joanne also went beyond her call of duty, assisting us with the process of getting plans drawn up & obtaining retrospective Council approval/ Building License for a pergola. She liaised closely with me, the buyers & the Town of Cambridge.
There was also an issue with a shared bored & with her many years of owning her own Settlement Agency, could work professionally with the Buyer to enable the continuation of the arrangement.
Throughout the whole selling process, the experience & knowledge of Joanne & Irene ensured that we proceeded to settlement in a professional & most efficient manner.

Joanne had an offer to present to me one evening after work, however, with her skilfulness & determination & understanding that the process isn’t complete until the sale isn’t done, was showing a buyer through another listing of hers & once she determined the buyer was not interested in that home, asked if she could show them our home prior to presenting another offer & skilfully worked with both buyers to achieve a very positive outcome for me.
